Sometimes life can feel so cold;
so empty; as if you was all alone;
days and nights can seem so long;
they just seem to go on and on;
you ask yourself what is the purpose;
you listen very careful for the answers;
not hearing any reply;
you do as others expect of you;
living up to others expectations;
not living for yourself;
knowing your heart will soon die;
but you keep doing what is expected;
your told when to laugh;
your told when to cry;
why can’t I be sad when I feel like being sad;
and happy when I feel happy;
I’m just one person;
I feel; I cry; I laugh; and I will die;
I carry the load; I do what is expected;
when I fall; I pick myself up;
when I cry I wipe my tears;
when I die; I will live;
I walk alone; I do what is expected;
